Scorpions Lose, 6-4, at The Squid's Beak
Cummaquid Squids starter Jesús Flores was in fine form against the Scottsdale Scorpions at The Squid's Beak, leading his team to a 6-4 win. Millard Blyth earned his 14th save in 15 chances. The Squids' win now puts them at 49-63.

Jeff Cornish's at-bat in the bottom of the first inning was a big one for Cummaquid. Coming to bat with two out, runners on 2nd and 3rd and Cummaquid leading 2-1, the right fielder hit a 2-run single.

"Feels good to get the job done," Cornish said after the game.
