Scorpions Come Back Late to Top Trojans

Scottsdale turned a good effort from starter Don Hanna into a win over the Warren Trojans at James R. Fouts Memorial Stadium. The final score was 3-1. Scottsdale reliever Arthur Richards got the win, raising his record to 2-1. Cuba Sullivan was tagged with the loss. The Scorpions bumped their record to 41-26 with this latest triumph.
Scottsdale needed the clutch hitting of José Chambers to notch the win. The right fielder hammered a 2-run home run in the top of the eighth inning to put the Scorpions on top, 3-1. For the game, Chambers had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
"We put it together today and came out with the win," Chambers said in postgame remarks. "That's the main thing."
