George Davis Takes MVP Trophy
Friday, September 13th , 2052
The manager of the Hesperia Hornets said he thinks George Davis is only going to get better as he gets older.
He may only be 22, but it will be hard to top the right fielder's 2052 campaign, as he has been named the winner of the Franklin D. Roosevelt League Outstanding Hitter Award.
His winning campaign featured a .276 batting average and a .407 on-base percentage this year. In 110 games he piled up 96 hits, 18 doubles, 1 triple, 26 home runs, 73 RBIs and 64 runs scored.
He received 20 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Eduardo Hernández of the Hesperia Hornets finished second in voting, while Oscar Charleston of the Novi Subdividers finished third.
