Wigan Week's Top Player Monday, August 12th , 2052 Bobby Wigan demonstrated his potential to be a star in the game last week and today he took home the Ronald Reagan League Player of the Week Award. The Muncie shortstop wreaked havoc on opposing pitchers last week, pounding them for a .429 average (9-for-21) with 5 home runs and 10 RBIs on his way to claiming the honor. This year Wigan is hitting .220, produced 36 RBIs and 14 home runs, scored 45 times and gotten on base at a .322 rate. |
