Roosevelt League Player of the Week Award for his superb performance this past week. To win the best player honor the 28-year-old Saskatoon hurler tossed a total of 17.1 innings, collecting 2 wins, 14 strikeouts and a 0.00 earned run average. He suffered no losses. To date Tavárez is 4-3 in 6 starts with a 2.99 ERA and has 57 strikeouts in 69.1 innings. |
