Novi's Charleston Winner, FRL Best Hitter in July Thursday, August 1st , 2052 For a rookie just breaking in, Oscar Charleston certainly put together a successful month. It was good enough to win the FRL Batter of the Month award for July. The 21-year-old left fielder for the Novi Subdividers hit .304 with 7 home runs, 17 RBIs and 16 runs scored. Currently Charleston is batting .251 with 89 hits and 26 home runs. He has knocked in 56 runs and scored 55 times. |
