League Punishes Pair for Fighting Wednesday, July 24th , 2052 Don Cleveland of the Belize Tourists and José Vásquez of the Phoenix Phoenix received notification from the league commissioner's office that they had been suspended for 5 and 6 games respectively for their part in the on-field ruckus in a recent game at Ballpark of Riverside. Looking at his present stats, Cleveland has compiled a .212 batting average in 9 games with a .316 on-base percentage, while hitting 3 home runs and driving in 5 runs. In 9 starts this year Vásquez has recorded a 6-4 record and a 2.47 ERA. |
