League Issues Colop 2-Game Suspension
Monday, July 1st , 2052
Coney Dogs center fielder Reynaldo Colop was incensed after being suspended for 2 games by the commissioner's office following a heated argument the day before in the Campus Martius-San Francisco game at Cats Ballpark.
He was thrown out of the game for arguing a strike call. The league office cited Colop for "inappropriate and aggressive conduct," which included throwing his hat at the umpire several times.
This year Colop has hit at a .221 pace and produced 19 RBIs, 4 home runs and scored 24 runs.
