This promising rookie center fielder for Lake Erie garnered everyone's respect by putting up some remarkable numbers and picking up the Player of the Week trophy. The 21-year-old haunted opposing pitchers hitting .500 (9-for-18) with 2 home runs and 10 RBIs last week. Cherry is swinging at a .236 pace on the year with 10 home runs, 46 RBIs and 45 runs scored.
