Tuesday, September 17th , 2052
The future looks extremely bright for Norm Cash. At the age of 23, many players are still trying to find their way in TTWB Double A.
Cash has not only found his way, he's already established himself as one of the game's brightest stars, today being named the winner of the George Washington League Outstanding Hitter Award.
"I didn't expect to hit .287 this year, that's for sure," the first baseman said.
The Campustown Commodores star also put up a .418 on-base percentage this year, with 103 hits, 25 doubles, no triples, 22 home runs, 67 RBIs and 49 runs scored.
He received 20 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Del Morris of the Naubinway Mariners finished second in voting, while Sean Cunningham of the Modesto Scavengers finished third.
