Kerry County 3B May Suspended
Saturday, April 12th , 2053
Silas May is not exactly engendering good will with the men in blue these days. At least that was the case yesterday at the Kerry County-Ann Arbor game. He became highly abusive when he was called out on strikes. That behavior was unacceptable to league disciplinary officials and they notified the Eagles third baseman that he had been suspended for 3 games.
This season May is batting .400 with 12 hits, 2 home runs, 3 RBIs, .400 OBP and has scored 3 runs.

Commodores Take It on Chin, Lose, 16-0, to Chicago
Friday, April 11th , 2053
It wasn't easy but the Chicago Beans made it look that way.
Starter Eudaldo Cablayan shut out the Campustown Commodores despite having what he later called "sub-par" stuff, and the Chicago Beans cruised to victory, 16-0. Cablayan allowed only 2 hits and rang up 15 strikeouts but insisted later that he did not deserve primary credit for the win.
"It didn't feel quite right today, but I got a lot of help to get through," he said. "I trusted my catcher and the guys behind me bailed me out more than once when I screwed up."
