Top Pitcher Award Announced by ALL Monday, September 16th , 2052 In the twilight of his career, Mario Contreras has no intention of going anywhere anytime soon. The 39-year-old Scouts starter hoisted up the Abraham Lincoln League Outstanding Pitcher Award earlier today, silencing critics who thought it was time for the "old man" to retire. Contreras crafted an ERA of 2.39 as he won 10 games, dropped 4, fanned 150 and gave up 32 walks in 147 innings of work. He received 17 first place votes out of a possible 20.
