García Magic in 4-0 Shutout Wednesday, August 14th , 2052 It wasn't easy but the Savannah Scouts made it look that way. Starter Rafael García shut out the Battle Creek Vampirez despite having what he later called "sub-par" stuff, and the Savannah Scouts cruised to victory, 4-0. García allowed only 1 hit and rang up 12 strikeouts but insisted later that he did not deserve primary credit for the win. "It didn't feel quite right today, but I got a lot of help to get through," he said. "I trusted my catcher and the guys behind me bailed me out more than once when I screwed up."
