GWL Premier Player Picked Monday, August 12th , 2052 It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the George Washington League, but last week Fred Brown of the Clerya Sandstorms reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Brown rocked opposing pitching for a .375 average (12-for-32), 1 home run and 6 RBIs to come away with the award. Brown is currently batting .234 with 7 home runs and 27 RBIs. |
