Mariners Crowned Kings of the George Washington League Wisconsin Division Friday, August 9th , 2052 The manager of the Naubinway Mariners said "a lot of hard work, talent and luck" are the reasons for his team's George Washington League Wisconsin Division championship. "This club believes in themselves and goes out and gets it done," he said. "You can't ask for much more than that as a manager." It's the club's 9th division crown and gives them an opportunity to win the franchise's 1st Round 2. "We want that title badly," said reliever Darren Manwaring as he took a break from celebrating with teammates. "This is just a start." |
