ALL Top Batter Trophy Won by Leonard Thursday, August 1st , 2052 Buck Leonard made his presence known as one of the best young stars in the Abraham Lincoln League this past month. The Lafeyette Lizards first baseman shined through the month of July and has won the Batter of the Month award. The 21-year-old hit .216 with 11 home runs, 26 RBIs and 16 runs scored. This year Leonard has collected a .198 batting average to date with 76 hits in 383 at-bats, 77 RBIs, 33 home runs and scored 53 times. He has played in 104 games. |
