Super Week for Modesto's Elliott! Monday, July 1st , 2052 It's always a thrill for fans of the team and students of the game alike when a superstar in the making shows what he's got. Jason Elliott, the Modesto Scavengers 24-year-old third baseman, put himself in the spotlight last week making him the clear-cut choice for George Washington League Player of the Week honors. He ripped 12 hits in 26 at-bats, compiling a .462 average with 1 home run and 4 RBIs. In the current season, Elliott has put up a .381 batting average with 32 hits, 3 home runs, 13 runs batted in and scored 9 runs. |
