The 23-year-old third baseman went about his business with vigor last week to grab the Abraham Lincoln League Player of the Week honors. He compiled a .393 average (11-for-28) with 3 home runs, 11 RBIs and 6 runs scored. This year MartÃnez is hitting .232 with 63 hits, 14 home runs, 49 RBIs and has scored 38 runs. |
