Kennedy Rips Mount Pleasant for 5 Hits Friday, April 11th , 2053 Ken Kennedy of the Kalamazoo Solicitors went on a hitting spree today against the Mount Pleasant Mountaneers pitching staff, racking up 5 hits in 6 at-bats, but to no avail -- the Mountaneers put a damper on his day and prevailed 14-11 over the Solicitors. "It was a heck of a day and I was kind of looking forward to a better ending than that," he said later. Ken Kennedy walked in the 1st, grounded out in the 3rd, hit an RBI double in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 7th, hit an RBI single in the 8th, singled in the 11th and singled in the 13th.
