It's Over! Texas Defeats Motown Tuesday, November 5th , 2052 The Texas Renegades ignited a huge celebration as they beat the Motown Hitmakers 3-0 to win the George Washington Trophy. Texas won the series 4-1, capturing the title for the 4th time. "We stepped it up at the right time, and now we're the champs," said Texas manager Todd Newcomer. "It's a great feeling." The champs finished the regular season 90-72 and claimed third place in the To The Wall Baseball Patriotic League. In the jubilant clubhouse after the decisive game, series MVP and second baseman Hung Shao said the Renegades have "great fans and they deserve this." "I am so happy for our city right now," he said.
