Asheville Takes Sam Adams Mug in Deciding Game Thursday, October 10th , 2052 The sweet swing of Ed Morrow has led his team through the Sam Adams Mug. The Asheville Boomsticks star earned series MVP honors as his club downed the Iowa City Stalkers to advance to the Alexander Hamilton Cup. The Boomsticks won the final game at Quick Stop Stadium by a score of 7-4 and the series 2-1. "I'm seeing the ball well and happy to contribute to a win," said Morrow. "I hope it continues for the rest of the playoffs." For the series, Morrow hit .600 with a .636 on-base percentage. He had 1 home runs, drove in 2 RBI and scored 4 runs. The Asheville Boomsticks will play against the Wildwood Fishers in the next round. Wildwood had a bye in the Sam Adams Mug.
