Paredes Belts Number 400 Sunday, September 8th , 2052 Asheville's 8-6 victory over Central Valley was highlighted by Juan Paredes's 400th career home run. His teammates congratulated him at home plate after he circled the bases. "I didn't see all of them out there," Paredes said with a chuckle, "until I rounded third base." He added sheepishly: "It was only a home run. It's not like I won us a World Series!" In 4 at-bats the Boomsticks third baseman collected 1 hit in his historic game, scored 1 run, and had 1 run batted in.
