Ypsi Sends Delong to Letterkenny Thursday, December 19th , 2052 Ypsi and Letterkenny have agreed in principle to a trade. The Yard Cats will send 26-year old C John Delong and a 2nd round draft pick to the Shamrocks for 28-year old RHP Tomás Silva. The deal is expected to be finalized shortly and the clubs will be introducing their new players to the press when the paperwork is complete. Delong is hitting .243 lifetime with 115 hits, 18 doubles, no triples, 7 home runs and 48 RBIs to date. He has scored 45 runs and stolen 0 bases. In his lifetime, the 28-year-old Silva has won 62 and lost 70, piling up 975 strikeouts with a 4.82 ERA. Opponents have hit .265 against him. |
