Phoenix-Reykjavik Trade: Buker for Jenkins Monday, November 30th, 2048 The Downs and Phoenix confirmed this afternoon that a trade had been agreed upon. In the deal, Phoenix will get 25-year-old RF Chris Russell, 32-year-old RHP Carl Jenkins, 28-year-old RHP Roberto Salas and 23-year-old minor league 3B Luis Medina, while Reykjavik will receive 33-year-old SS Ray Buker. Buker has put up a career batting average of .273 with 1118 hits, 202 homers and 638 RBIs. Through the years Jenkins has fashioned a 102-87 mark, 4.10 ERA and thrown 1768 innings. Opposing clubs are batting .271 lifetime against him and he has logged 1193 career strikeouts. |
