The New York Moneymen picked up a win at Old League Park, knocking off the Motown Hitmakers, 5-3. On the mound for New York was left-hander Bill Dennis, who played a pivotal role in the win. Dennis, now 10-13, was the winner. In 7 innings, he gave up 7 hits, while striking out 6, walking 1, and allowing 3 earned runs.
