The Motown Hitmakers picked up a win at Old League Park, knocking off the Potthole Pride, 7-5. Starting pitcher Brit Clark was an essential part of his team's success. Clark got the win, improving to 18-7. He allowed 9 hits and walked 1 over 7.2 innings. Clark allowed 3 earned runs. Conner Charles converted his 6th save in 7 tries.

Evan Higgins, who is tied for 9th in the NL with a .311 batting average, aided the Motown cause with a 2-run single in the bottom of the second. For the game, the catcher went 2 for 4 with a double, while adding 3 RBI.
