The New York Moneymen and Indianapolis Indians obliged those fans who came to The Stinger looking for a good time.

New York withstood an impressive performance by Indianapolis first baseman Javier Román to defeat the Indians, 10-9, at The Stinger. Román went 2-4 with 2 home runs and a walk. He drove in 4 runs and scored twice. New York now owns a record of 73-82.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the tenth inning, when New York first baseman Bert Cain, facing Owen Boulanger, had a run-scoring ground out. It gave the Moneymen the 10-9 win.

"Our guys just had that look of determination," said winning manager Eric Sieg.
