The Potthole Pride bested the Wildwood Fishers, 6-3, at MDOT Park. John Cross was named player of the game. He was 2-4 with a home run. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3. Joseph Porter notched his 3rd save in 4 chances. Even with the win, the Pride have a dismal 44-108 record.

Bernardo Ruíz was 1-2, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once for Potthole. The four-time All-Star had a key at-bat in the bottom of the second. With one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 0-0 tie with a run-scoring sacrifice fly off Todd Thorp. It was his 70th RBI of the season.

"We cashed in when we had the chance," said Potthole manager Matt Philpott.
