|
The Ludington LumberJaxxx got a strong performance from pitcher Esteban Ramírez, who stymied the Asheville offense en route to a 7-1 win at Husqvarna Field. Dave Walker notched his 2nd save in 2 chances. Ludington improves to 112-40 with the win. They lead their division by 30 games.
Len Clark, who is tied for 9th in the PL in home runs with 27, aided the Ludington cause with a solo home run in the bottom of the second. For the game, the catcher went 1 for 3 with a home run and a walk.
"We cashed in when we had the chance," said Ludington manager Sam Genson.
