The Cummaquid Squids racked up a win at The Squid's Beak, bumping off the Potthole Pride, 2-1. William Morgan, who started for Cummaquid, pitched effectively for his team. Adrian Orr, credited with the win, is now 9-10. He allowed no runs on no hits in 2 innings.

Dale Hall drew 1 walk for Cummaquid. The 26-year old center fielder had a key at-bat in the bottom of the seventh. With one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 1-1 tie with a run-scoring sacrifice fly off Olezka Elizarov. It was his 32nd RBI of the season.

Morgan said the team appreciates the support from the fans. "I'm glad we could reward them with a good win," he said after the game.
