Motown rode a fine outing from starter Stephen Elder to victory over the Indianapolis Indians at Thunder Stadium. The final score was 4-1. The Hitmakers bumped their record to 81-61 with this latest triumph.
José Lluea, who is tied for 6th in the NL with a .376 on-base percentage, chipped in for Motown with a 2-run home run in the top of the third. For the game, the first baseman had 2 hits in 3 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 2 runs batted in.
