Potthole right fielder Lúcio Velasco had a terrific game, but it still wasn't enough to get his team a win. Velasco went 3-4 with a home run and a triple, while scoring 2 runs, even as Wildwood beat the Pride, 6-5. Velasco was named the player of the game despite the loss. The Fishers bumped their record to 89-49 with this latest triumph.

Jeffrey Phelps was the walk-off hero for Wildwood. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Fishers second baseman hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"I'm just looking for a good pitch that I can hit well," said Phelps. "And not try to do too much."
