Fletcher Sensational, 5-for-5
It doesn't happen very often, but it did for Alex Fletcher today -- a 5-hit effort. He went on a rampage at Quick Stop Stadium and paced the LumberJaxxx to a 8-6 win over the Asheville Boomsticks.

After his dynamite batting performance, the Ludington third baseman told reporters that he "just tried to get in a good count and have a good at-bat. That's all I can control."

His philosophy paid dividends today. He slammed 5 hits in 5 tries and put his name in the record book. Alex Fletcher hit an RBI single in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, singled in the 6th, hit an RBI double in the 8th and hit a three-run double in the 9th.

So far this year Fletcher has 1 home run and a .323 batting average.
