The Great Black Swamp Mud Hens topped the Diablo Canyon Tritium, 6-3, in Patriotic League action at Fission Field. The player of the game was Great Black Swamp pitcher and Hamden, Connecticut native Wally Johnson. Johnson got the win, improving to 6-3. He allowed 8 hits and walked 3 over 8 innings. Johnson allowed 3 earned runs. Bryan Hale notched his 5th save in 5 chances.

Nick Hernández, who is tied for 2nd in the PL in doubles with 39, aided the Great Black Swamp cause with a run-scoring double in the top of the fifth. For the game, the first baseman went 3 for 5 with a double and 2 singles, while adding 2 RBI.
