Texas rode a decent outing from starter Telmo Badanha to victory over the Potthole Pride at MDOT Park. The final score was 3-2. Texas reliever Billy Hinton was the winner. His record is now 3-2. Juan Villarreal took the loss. Texas is now 49-72.

The Renegades got a big at-bat from right fielder Sancho Pereira. For the game, Pereira went 1-4 with a home run. In the top of the ninth, with the bases empty, he stroked a solo home run. His 17th home run of the season gave Texas a 3-2 lead.

"It was just a matter of executing," said Texas manager Todd Newcomer.
