Higgins Leads Charge, Greenville Blasts Trojans
The Greenville 84s defeated the Warren Trojans, 13-3, in Patriotic League action at James R. Fouts Memorial Stadium, with Greenville right fielder Rob Higgins named player of the game. Luke Taylor picked up the win, improving his season record to 10-5. He struck out 8 in 6.1 innings. The 84s saw their record improve to 58-62.

Luca Scutt, who is tied for 8th in the PL with a .374 on-base percentage, chipped in for Greenville with a 3-run home run in the top of the first. For the game, the designated hitter had 3 hits in 5 at-bats with 1 home run, 2 singles, 1 run scored, and 3 runs batted in.
