Getting a good performance from center fielder Steve Myers, the Ludington LumberJaxxx defeated the Great Black Swamp Mud Hens, 7-4. Myers went 2 for 4 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once for the LumberJaxxx. Rob Olivarez earned the win to go to 8-3. He allowed 4 earned runs on 8 hits, with 2 walks and no strikeouts. Daniel Bissonnette, credited with the save, is now 17 for 18 in save opportunities.

The LumberJaxxx got a big at-bat from second baseman Chris Hogbin. For the game, Hogbin was 1-4 with a home run. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. In the top of the fourth, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 8th home run of the season gave Ludington a 3-1 lead.
