Dam Site got a terrific performance from right fielder Roberto Rivera, but it wasn't enough to beat the Potthole Pride. Potthole won the MDOT Park contest, 9-6. Rivera was the player of the game despite being on the losing side. He was 4 for 5 with a home run and 3 singles, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2. Potthole reliever Francisco González got the win, raising his record to 1-1. Dave Michael was tagged with the loss. Don Dennis earned his 10th save in 11 chances.

Howard Ángel swatted a run-scoring double for Potthole in the bottom of the sixth. The third baseman went 2 for 4 for the game, including 1 home run and 1 double. He scored 2 runs and batted in 2.

"We came out aggressive," said Pride manager Matt Philpott. "We came out swinging the bats."

Even with the win, the Pride have a dismal 32-81 record.
