Fishers Win at Warren, 8-4
|
The Wildwood Fishers defeated the Warren Trojans, 8-4, in Nationalist League action at James R. Fouts Memorial Stadium, with Wildwood first baseman Chris Terry named player of the game. Stefano Stefaneschi got the save, his 39th in 41 chances. Wildwood now has a 4-game win streak.
Terry had a game-changing home run in the top of the seventh. On a 1-2 fastball from Jesús Aguilera, he banged a 3-run home run to right, giving the Fishers a 6-4 lead. It was the 37th home run of the year for Terry.
"Winning the game is always the first objective," Terry said.
