The Greenville 84s got a sterling performance from designated hitter Mochihito Kobayashi, but the Renegades still prevailed, 6-4. Kobayashi was named the player of the game in a losing cause. He hit 2 home runs, while scoring 3 times and driving in 2. The Renegades saw their win-loss record go to 42-68. At the same time, the 84s fell to 54-56.
