The Cummaquid Squids went home winners at The Cavern, thanks in large part to starter William Morgan. Morgan silenced the Texas Renegades, enabling Cummaquid to grab the 4-1 win. Cummaquid is now 47-60.

Ash Champion aided the Cummaquid cause with a 3-run home run in the top of the seventh. For the game, the third baseman went 1-3 with a home run and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once.

"We'll grab a cold one tonight and go after another win tomorrow," Morgan said.
