Stalkers Roll Drifters, 6-3

The first-place Iowa City Stalkers welcomed Dam Site to Hayden Fry Field.
Iowa City starter Bryan Bradshaw had a strong outing against the Dam Site Drifters at Hayden Fry Field. The right-hander was a big part of his team's 6-3 win. Shimei Nakai was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 33 of 37 save opportunities.
Folkert Buyse had a big 2-run single for the Stalkers in the bottom of the second inning. With Iowa City leading 1-0 and the bases loaded, he got a curveball from Randy Ryan and stroked the single to left. It was his 11th hit of the season, and more importantly, it put the Stalkers ahead, 3-0.
"Nice to see our side come away with the win," Buyse said after the game.
The first-place Stalkers, at 59-48, now lead their division by 2½ games.
