Peterson Now 7-3 After Subduing Devil Cats
|
The New York Moneymen went home winners at Devil Cat Park, thanks in large part to starter Don Peterson. Peterson silenced the Wicker Park Devil Cats, enabling New York to grab the 2-0 win. Henry Mathews, credited with the save, is now 28 for 32 in save opportunities. The Moneymen bumped their record to 54-52 with this latest triumph.
Peterson, who was born in Los Angeles, California, threw 96 pitches over 8 innings, while allowing no earned runs.
"We'll pop the top on a cold one and get back to work tomorrow," Peterson said.
