Great Black Swamp got an elite performance from starting pitcher Clint Potts in taking a 4-1 decision over the Ludington LumberJaxxx. Tomás Quintero earned his 25th save in 29 chances. The Mud Hens, at 49-52, sit in 4th place in the Patriotic League Independence Division.

Potts was effective against the LumberJaxxx, seldom allowing a hard-hit ball. The left-hander limited Ludington to just 1 run on 4 hits over 8 innings.
