Devil Cats Use Late-Game Magic to Beat Downs
The Phoenix Downs got a superb performance from pitcher Tim Trujillo. Still, it wasn't enough to beat Wicker Park. The Devil Cats won the game, 2-1. In spite of the loss, Trujillo was named the player of the game. He threw 8 innings of 4-hit ball. Wicker Park reliever Jason D'Abrichecourt picked up the win, upping his record to 4-2. Kerry Shields shouldered the loss. Wicker Park now has a 5-game win streak.
