Victory Pushes Moneymen Record to 48-43
|
New York Moneymen starter Pat Hunt was in a groove as he led his team to a win over the Indianapolis Indians, 6-1. The Moneymen bumped their record to 48-43 with this latest triumph.
Joe Wilder, who is a two-time All-Star, aided the New York cause with a 3-run home run in the top of the fourth. For the game, the shortstop was 1 for 4 with a home run, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once.
"If I go out there and help the team win, that's all you can do," said Hunt.
