Roy St. John made an impact in the 7-5 Texas win over Great Black Swamp. St. John, who is tied for 8th in the PL in stolen bases with 11, went 3 for 3 with 2 doubles and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 2. Sergio Pagán earned his 11th save in 11 chances.
St. John had a game-changing double in the top of the seventh. On a 1-2 fastball from Al Thomason, he banged a 2-run double to right-center, giving the Renegades a 6-5 lead. It was the 20th double of the year for St. John.
"We'll relax tonight and enjoy this win," said St. John.
