The Dam Site Drifters and Potthole Pride brought some excitement to Superior Stadium.

Potthole starter Jason Barr had a strong outing against the Dam Site Drifters at Superior Stadium. The right-hander was a big part of his team's 8-2 win. Barr went 8.2 innings to notch the win. He scattered 7 hits, walked 1, and struck out 4. His record improves to 8-5.

The Pride got a big at-bat from left fielder Doug Lees. For the game, Lees was 2-5 with 2 singles. In the top of the fifth, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a run-scoring single. His 8th hit of the season gave Potthole a 2-1 lead.

"We need to string a few more wins like this one together," said Lees.

Even with the win, the Pride have a dismal 22-61 record.
