Multi-HR Game for Colón in 4-2 Win
|
Pete Colón made an impact in the 4-2 Central Valley win over Ludington. Colón was 2-2 with 2 home runs and a walk, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice. Richard Davis, credited with the win, is now 9-5. He allowed 2 runs on 7 hits in 7 innings. Reynaldo Morán was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 23 of 27 save opportunities.
Colón had a key at-bat for Central Valley early in the game. With runners on 2nd and 3rd, he hit a 3-run home run. It was his 14th home run of the season and gave Central Valley an early 3-0 lead.
"Our guys are never satisfied," said Central Valley manager Tony Meyer.
Central Valley is now 48-31, 5 games up in the Nationalist League Stripes Division.
