Devil Cats Rally For Late Win Over Indians
The Indianapolis Indians got a superb performance from pitcher Dave Keller. Still, it wasn't enough to beat Wicker Park. The Devil Cats won the game, 1-0. In spite of the loss, Keller was named the player of the game. He threw 6 innings of shutout ball. Wicker Park reliever Jason D'Abrichecourt picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Scott González took the loss. Indianapolis has now lost 4 consecutive games.

One important at-bat came with runners on 1st and 2nd in the top of the seventh inning. Facing Indianapolis hurler Dave Keller, Francisco García drew a walk. The Devil Cats went on to win.

In comments to the Wicker Park Chronicle, García admitted he's been told to improve his work habits. "But," he said, "I know when to take it to another gear."
